Intended Use:
The SafeSept™ transseptal guidewire is used together with a transseptal needle to perform the primary puncture of the interatrial septum and to guide the needle, the dilator and the catheter through the septum, from the right to the left side of the heart.
Indication for Use
Indicated for use in procedures requiring access to the left atrium by the transseptal technique. The SafeSept™ transseptal guidewire is single-use only.
